Automatic Device for Gun Leveling Correction Calculation

This device is designed for the automatic calculation of gun leveling correction for armored vehicles, one of the key factors in indirect fire accuracy. Initially developed in 2017 for the BMP-1 gun, it has since been upgraded for use on Soviet-era and Ukrainian-made tanks. Today, the device has been adapted for AMX tanks, with ongoing integration development for Leopard tanks.

Why Is Gun Leveling Correction Important?

When firing from concealed positions, the turret’s rotation plane is not always parallel to the ground. This creates a significant error, which, without precise adjustment, can negatively impact fire accuracy. Our device automatically calculates and applies this correction, improving target engagement efficiency and reducing ammunition consumption.

Integration Features

• For Soviet-era and Ukrainian-made tanks – installs into the standard side level mount.

• For Leopard tanks – supports simultaneous use of the standard sight and side level.

Proven Effectiveness

To date, more than 600 armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been equipped with this device. Military personnel report that it significantly reduces time spent in firing positions and enhances shooting accuracy.
